  - Using a patcher like MLPostFactor. Perhaps graphical glitches with the integrated GMA 950 graphics.
- Linux: Debian or MX Linux which support 32-bit EFI

Using non-Apple keyboard
- Command (⌘): Windows
- Option (⌥): Alt

F12: Eject disk
Command-R: MacOS Recovery system
Option-Command-R or Shift-Option-Command-R: Start from MacOS Recovery over the Internet
Option: Startup Manager, which allows you to choose other available startup disks or volumes
Option-Command-P-R: Reset NVRAM
Shift: Safe mode
D: Apple Diagnostics utility
- Option-D to start up to this utility over the internet
N: Start up from a NetBoot server, if your Mac supports network startup volumes
- Option-N: To use the default boot image on the server
Command-S: Start up in single-user mode (disabled in macOS Mojave or later)
T: Target disk mode
Command-V: Verbose mode
